Job summary

Help Scout is hiring a Backend Engineer to join our Search and Data Services team. You will build and scale the next generation of our large-scale search and reporting service, focusing on reliability, performance, and cost control in an event-driven architecture.

You’ll work on data pipelines, search relevancy, and indexing, while collaborating with peers across Engineering, Product, and Design. This fully remote role requires at least 4 hours overlap with Central European time and supports a
