Job summary

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, seeks a Platform Engineer for our Tampa, FL hybrid office. You will architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure across edge to enterprise environments, building CI/CD pipelines and optimizing containerized apps.

You will enable tenant developers, translate requirements into Kubernetes configurations, and mentor teams on best practices. This role demands security clearance eligibility and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLabCI).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with tenants.
• Eligible to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Monitor, optimize, and scale clusters for performance and reliability.
• Apply security best practices to keep the Kubernetes platform secure.
• Collaborate with developers to translate app requirements into Kubernetes configurations.
• Provide guidance and training to platform tenants on Kubernetes usage.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes and containerized app issues.
• Stay current with Kubernetes and containerization trends.
