Job summary
BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Tampa, FL team in a hybrid role. You will architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure across edge and cloud environments, building CI/CD pipelines and optimizing containerized applications.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure platforms, mentor tenants, and drive container orchestration innovations while delivering reliable services for internal and external
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
- Proven design, deployment, and management of Kubernetes clusters in production.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitLabCI.
- Excellent communication with tenants.
- Eligible to obtain a US security clearance (US citizenship).
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for microservices.
- Monitor and optimize clusters for performance and reliability.
- Implement security best practices in the Kubernetes environment.
- Collaborate with developers to meet application requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to platform tenants.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes and containerized apps.
- Stay current with Kubernetes and containerization trends.
