BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Tampa, FL team in a hybrid role. You will architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure across edge and cloud environments, building CI/CD pipelines and optimizing containerized applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure platforms, mentor tenants, and drive container orchestration innovations while delivering reliable services for internal and external

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Proven design, deployment, and management of Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitLabCI.
• Excellent communication with tenants.
• Eligible to obtain a US security clearance (US citizenship).

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is looking to hire a Platform Engineer to join the team in our Tampa, FL office. This will be a hybrid position. As a Platform Engineer at BCubed Engineering, you will play a critical role in architecting, deploying, and managing our Kubernetes-based infrastructure across a variety of environments, ranging from edge sensors to enterprise clouds. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, implement CI/CD pipelines, and optimize the performance of containerized applications. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging technical problems and drive innovation in the container orchestration space. You will facilitate the successful integration of tenant applications into the Kubernetes Platform. Your role will be essential to ensuring a seamless experience for internal and external application developers as they join the Kubernetes ecosystem. This role combines technical expertise with strong communication and customer service skills.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support microservices-based architecture in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Monitor and optimize Kubernetes clusters for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity of the Kubernetes environment.
• Work closely with developers to understand their application requirements and design Kubernetes solutions that meet their needs.
• Provide guidance and training to platform tenants on best practices for Kubernetes usage
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes and containerized applications.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in Kubernetes and containerization.

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLabCI).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working closely with tenants.
• Ability to understand and translate application requirements into Kubernetes configurations
• Eligible to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Kubernetes certification (e.g., CKA, CKAD, CKS).
• Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools like Helm, Istio, ArgoCD, FluxCD, Prometheus, or Rancher.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance (US Citizenship Required)

PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $170,000- $210,000. APPLICATION DEADLINE:January 6, 2026.
