Job summary

Aflac Columbus is seeking a Platform Engineer III to join the Digital Services division. The role supports architectural design, integration, and platform maintenance in a hybrid or remote setup within the continental US.

Your background includes advanced software configuration, modern languages, andScrum/DevOps experience, plus mentorship of junior team members and project leadership. Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in release practices are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
4+ years of experience in release practices and environments or related experience.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Provides architectural design and maintenance support for platform environments.
Ensures compliance with policies and security standards.
Plans software upgrades, patching, and plugin installations.
Monitors performance and manages capacity issues.
Designs and maintains integrations to platform applications.
Delivers technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
