GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation is seeking a Platform Engineer II to design, implement, and improve scalable platforms that support the business. You will automate, operate, and secure platforms, partnering with engineering and business teams to promote best practices.

The role emphasizes cloud-native architectures, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and strong incident response capabilities to ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 3+ years of experience supporting, engineering, or administering technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code to provision cloud and platform infrastructure.
• Build and maintain containerized services and deployment pipelines using GitOps practices.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads and related networking/storage configurations.
• Maintain configuration management records and incident/change processes.
• Monitor platform performance and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Build monitoring and alerting to surface failures early.
• Implement and maintain security controls and access management for audit/compliance.

Education
