Job summary

Exiger is seeking a Platform Engineer II in Richmond, Virginia, to independently design and build AWS platform features. The ideal candidate will contribute to CI/CD pipelines and manage Kubernetes operations while driving compliance and observability.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years of production experience in cloud infrastructure or CI/CD.
• Willingness to achieve AWS Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator Associate certification within 12 months.
• Familiarity with mainstream LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google).

Responsibilities

• Own platform features end-to-end, from design to production.
• Build multi-environment CI/CD pipelines and deploy workloads via Terraform and Helm.
• Operate and troubleshoot AWS EKS clusters, including resource management.
• Manage AWS IAM roles and implement secure-by-default configurations.
• Design SLOs and dashboards using CloudWatch or Datadog.
