Job summary

Pacific Life Insurance Company is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our enterprise technology team. You will help build and maintain automated workflows, AI-enabled solutions, and API-based interactions to improve end‑user support and reduce manual effort.

You will support platform administration, participate in deployment lifecycles, and develop metrics and dashboards to measure health, performance, and business outcomes. A bachelor’s degree and 0–4 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience building or maintaining scripts, API integrations, workflows, or service interactions using PowerShell, Python, HTTP-based calls, or similar methods.
• Exposure to enterprise identity, access, and governance concepts, including RBAC and secure administration practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Help build, test, deploy, and maintain reusable workflows, automations, and AI-enabled or knowledge-driven solutions to reduce manual effort.
• Develop and maintain operational scripts and API-based interactions under guidance with established security controls.
• Support platform administration by helping maintain access models, configuration standards, integrations, and data feeds.
• Contribute to deployment, configuration, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of platform components.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that measure platform health, service performance, and business outcomes.
