Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Platform Engineer to join the enterprise technology team. You will support end-user services and digital workplace platforms, building automations and API-based integrations to reduce manual work and improve service delivery.

Ideal candidates have up to 4 years of relevant IT experience, with scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) and a familiarity with enterprise identity and governance concepts. This role emphasizes data-driven insights and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–4 years supporting end-user services, digital workplace, platform admin, automation, analytics, or related projects.
• Exposure to enterprise platforms, configuration, access management, integrations, and lifecycle management.
• Foundational scripting and API integration experience with PowerShell, Python, HTTP calls, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy, and maintain reusable workflows and automations.
• Develop and maintain operational scripts and API-based interactions with security and access controls.
• Support platform administration: access models, configurations, integrations, data feeds, controls.
• Contribute to deployment, configuration, lifecycle management and platform improvements.
• Develop dashboards and metrics to measure platform health, performance, adoption, and outcomes.
• Translate technical activity into insights and training materials for teams.
