Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Platform Engineer to own the shared technical foundation for the HPC team. You will manage build flows, test environments, and delivery pipelines turning FPGA and GPU work into flight-ready artifacts, while ensuring reuse across missions.

You will also own planning methods, reporting rhythms, and Jira-based roadmaps, working to minimize variations and promote shared components across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field plus 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Hands-on development experience with FPGA and/or GPU workflows, including synthesis/compilation toolchains, simulation or profiling environments, and build/release pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve build flows, test environments, and delivery/integration pipelines for FPGA and GPU code.
• Own toolchain environments (synthesis, simulation, cross-compilation, containerized builds) and keep them up-to-date.
• Plan and track team roadmap in Jira with on-demand snapshot reporting.
• Publish weekly reports on team health, progress, risks, and blockers.
