Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC). You will work on air-gapped regions and support government customers, building scalable, automated solutions for mission-critical workloads.

Applicants must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each agency they support, and be prepared to obtain continued clearance post-start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) is required.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issues.
• Developing monitoring solutions.
• Performing software maintenance and configuration.
• Implementing fixes for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA, Python).
• Updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
• Working alongside development on AWS projects.
