Expo, Inc. is seeking an early-career infrastructure engineer to design, build, and operate backend systems powering developer-facing services. You will own deploy paths, CI, and preview environments, improving tooling to ship faster and reduce CI time and cost.

You will write reliable code with tests, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate on documentation and reviews. Prior container and cloud experience is valuable in a team that ships at scale.

Qualifications

• Early-career engineers with interest in backend infra and distributed systems.
• Experience with containers, CI pipelines, and deploying services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and Terraform is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate backend infrastructure for developer-facing services.
• Own deploy path, CI, and preview environments to ship safely.
• Improve internal tooling to reduce CI time and costs.
• Write reliable software with tests and monitoring; participate in on-call rotations.
