Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale is hiring for a role in Localization, Calibration, and Mapping who will own multi-platform calibration, onboard new vehicle types, and turn learning into reusable workflows.

You’ll build cloud orchestration for calibration at fleet scale, design data-health gates for IMU/GNSS/LiDAR data, and ship tooling that non-experts can run. This role emphasizes ownership and close user feedback.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and operating production software systems
• Strong Python and modern C++ skills
• Ownership of a pipeline, platform, or internal tool used by other teams
• Hands-on depth with a cloud workflow framework (Flyte preferred; Airflow, Argo) plus CI/CD and containers
• Strength in debugging systems from logs when symptoms are misleading
• Sensor data literacy to reason about IMU/INS, GNSS/RTK, lidar, and camera data validity
• Experience with physical systems, sensors, or hardware-in-the-loop
• Automates recurring failures out of existence

Responsibilities

• Own calibration across a growing multi-platform fleet: onboard new vehicle types, root-cause production failures, and convert learnings into reusable workflows
• Drive cross-team work that raises calibration path reliability with teams across build, hardware, and infra
• Build and operate cloud workflow orchestration for calibration at fleet scale from data collection through evaluation and deployment
• Design automated data-health gates that catch bad IMU/INS, GNSS/RTK, lidar, and camera data before it reaches the calibration path
• Ship production-quality tooling that non-expert internal users can run themselves
• Debug across the cloud/vehicle boundary by tracing root causes through orchestration and logs
