Job summary

Aurora in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Software Engineer II for the calibration team. You will design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain online calibration software for our autonomous vehicles, processing sensor data in real-time.

Collaborate across software, hardware, manufacturing, and operations; require 4+ years in safety-critical software and strong C++17+ skills. This hybrid role offers in-office work at least 3 days per week and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience building software for safety critical applications.
• Proficiency in modern C++ (17+), with a focus on high-performance, production quality engineering.
• Experience with sensor calibration or robotics domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient algorithms to process sensor data in real-time.
• End to end ownership including design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance of online calibration software for the vehicles.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams such as software, hardware, manufacturing, and operations.
