Job summary

Delavan Holdings is hiring a Platform Engineer to own our Azure cloud, Kubernetes platforms, and infrastructure as code from Delavan, WI. You will build, operate, and secure the end-to-end cloud stack for a multi-company portfolio, including CI/CD and observability.

You will define IaC with Terraform/Bicep, manage container platforms and AI gateway components, and drive incident response with dashboards and RCA documentation. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity based in Delavan, WI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Hands-on Azure services: Entra ID, RBAC, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls.
• Production Kubernetes experience (AKS/EKS) and scaling/upgrades.
• IaC experience with Terraform or Bicep; code review and GitHub workflows.
• Scripting in PowerShell or Bash in modern DevOps workflows.
• Strong SQL and data platform support fundamentals.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools to drive incident response.
• Security governance: least-privilege, secret management across entities.

Responsibilities

• Own Azure environment end-to-end: subscriptions, IAM, networking, compute, storage, and cost control.
• Define and manage infrastructure as code in Terraform or Bicep, stored in GitHub with reviews.
• Operate container platforms and AI gateway components, including routing, auth, rate limiting, and policy.
• Own monitoring, alerting, and observability; lead incident response and RCA writing.
• Maintain data platform infrastructure in collaboration with data/analytics teams.
• Manage backup, DR, and business continuity with tested recovery processes.
• Handle credentials securely and enforce data governance across entities.
• Lead changes through design, build, test, and staged deployments.
