Job summary

Delavan Holdings is seeking a Platform Engineer to own our Azure cloud, Kubernetes platforms, and infrastructure as code for a multi-company portfolio. This on-site role will build and operate cloud infra, CI/CD pipelines, and observability across the holding company.

You will define IaC with Terraform or Bicep, manage container gateways and AI workflows, and partner with data and IT teams to deliver reliable, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in platform engineering, infra, DevOps, cloud, or SRE.
• Hands-on Azure: Entra ID, RBAC, service principals, VNet, DNS, firewalls.
• Production Kubernetes experience (AKS/EKS) and deployments.
• IaC experience with Terraform, Bicep, or similar.
• Scripting in PowerShell or Bash; Git/GitHub workflows.
• Strong SQL support for data platform infra.
• Monitoring/observability to drive incident response.
• Backup/DR and cost monitoring practices.
• Security and data governance with least-privilege access.
• AI tooling fluency in engineering; verify outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and maintain Azure cloud end-to-end including IAM, networking, compute, and storage.
• Define and manage infrastructure as code; keep environments reproducible.
• Operate container platforms and API gateways; manage routing and auth.
• Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response; RCA and lessons learned.
• Maintain data platform infrastructure and backup/disaster recovery.
• Enforce least-privilege access and secrets management across entities.
• Collaborate with IT, data teams, and forward deployed engineers.
• Lead through design-build-test-release cycles in staged Azure environments.
