Job summary

Kalepa, an AI-powered insurer tech company, is seeking a senior Infra/DevOps engineer in New York (Hybrid). You will own CI/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and ensure security and compliance across cloud-native platforms.

You’ll work with global teams (full-stack, data, AI, and DevOps) to build scalable backend solutions, improve performance, and manage costs while delivering reliable, observable systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering or DevOps experience.
• Strong Python proficiency and knowledge of OO languages.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and serverless AWS (Lambda/EC2).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate operational workflows.
• Ensure security, compliance, and observability of cloud systems.
• Improve infrastructure performance, monitor costs, and standardize deployment patterns.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to build scalable backend solutions.
• Contribute to incident response processes and scalability initiatives.
