Job summary

The Princeton Group in New York is seeking a technical Azure DevOps Platform Engineer to own and evolve our cloud and infrastructure platform, serving as a key technical voice within the organization.

You will design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure, manage Kubernetes environments, drive CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, and implement Terraform-based IaC to support .NET applications while guiding tooling choices and automation across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient with Kubernetes environments for containerized workloads.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline experience, especially with GitHub Actions or similar.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

A leading Financial firm is seeking a technical passionate AZURE DevOps Platform Engineer to own and evolve the firm's cloud and infrastructure platform, while also serving as a key technical voice within the organization. This role goes beyond pure infrastructure execution — you'll be the bridge between engineering teams and the business, translating technical capability into practical recommendations and helping guide decisions on the tools, platforms, and technologies the firm adopts. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with the communication skill to explain complex tradeoffs clearly to both developers and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Role

This role involves owning and evolving the firm's cloud and infrastructure platform while serving as a key technical voice within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including provisioning, scaling, and cost management
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes environments supporting containerized application workloads
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and source control workflows using GitHub
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Support and collaborate on .NET application infrastructure and deployment needs
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to both development teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance
• Evaluate new tools, platforms, and technologies, and make informed recommendations on what the firm should adopt
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure infrastructure decisions align with both engineering best practices and business needs
• Drive automation and process improvement across the platform to increase reliability, security, and deployment velocity
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform issues across environments
