Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production-scale web apps or platforms.
• Experience with web platform architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
• Experience with CDN/edge delivery, caching, performance optimization, and web performance metrics.
• Understanding of headless CMS or composable/DXP architectures.
• Experience integrating CMS platforms with frontend apps and downstream systems.
• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, reliability, and platform health metrics.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and operate shared web and content platform capabilities used across multiple product and business teams.
• Own integrations between CMS/content layer and frontend apps, edge delivery, APIs, DAM, CDP/customer segments, and personalization platforms.
• Develop reusable platform services, APIs, SDKs, components, and orchestration capabilities.
• Establish content models, standards, governance, publishing patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Improve self-service capabilities for Marketing/Merchandising to publish experiences with limited engineering dependency.
• Optimize delivery performance including caching strategies and Core Web Vitals.
• Design highly available and resilient platform services with monitoring and operational controls.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Merchandising, Growth, and engineering teams to drive adoption of platform capabilities.
• Help define platform architecture and roadmap as usage grows.

What You'll Do

• Build, enhance, and operate shared web and content platform capabilities used across multiple product and business teams.
• Own integrations between the CMS/content layer and frontend applications, edge delivery, APIs, digital asset management, CDP/customer segments, and personalization platforms.
• Develop reusable platform services, APIs, SDKs, components, and orchestration capabilities.
• Establish content models, standards, governance, publishing patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Improve self-service capabilities so Marketing and Merchandising teams can safely publish experiences with limited engineering dependency.
• Optimize delivery performance, including caching strategies, segment-aware caching, application latency, and Core Web Vitals.
• Design highly available and resilient platform services with appropriate monitoring, observability, and operational controls.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Merchandising, Growth, and engineering teams to drive adoption of platform capabilities.
• Help define platform architecture and technical roadmap as usage grows across the organization.

Key Technical Experience

• Strong software engineering background with experience building production-scale web applications or platforms.

• Cloud engineering experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
