Job summary
Blue Origin LLC is seeking a capable Infrastructure DevOps Software Engineer III in the Seattle area to own platform components from design to operation. You will build reusable infrastructure modules, manage AWS-based services, and run production Kubernetes on EKS, while driving automation and AI-assisted workflows.
The role requires deep AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC expertise, plus hands-on experience with CI/CD and incident response.
Qualifications
- BS degree or higher in computer engineering, CS, or related field.
- 5+ years hands-on experience deploying and operating software or cloud infrastructure.
- Experience owning production systems as platform/DevOps/SRE.
- Experience building reusable IaC modules with Pulumi and Terraform.
- Deep hands-on AWS experience (EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own reusable IaC modules with Pulumi and Terraform.
- Own AWS platform services including account and network topology.
- Design and operate production Kubernetes clusters on EKS.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and deployment patterns for safe, frequent releases.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
- Implement AI-assisted automation for platform operations.
