What role will you play?

In this role you will build and lead a high-performing team responsible for developer experience and automation capabilities within Cyber Engineering. You will define and deliver a modern internal platform that enables secure, scalable, and resilient engineering across identity, security, and data platforms. You will lead a team of DevOps Engineers to drive platform-as-a-product thinking to improve developer productivity, operational excellence, and automation maturity.

What you offer
  • Ability to contribute to defining and executing the platform engineering strategy and roadmap aligned with cyber and enterprise goals. Establish the internal developer platform vision and core capabilities. Drive platform-as-a-product mindset, treating engineering teams as customers. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of highly capable DevOps engineers.
  • Experience designing and overseeing secure, scalable, cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure and hybrid).
  • Ability to design CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.), container platforms (Kubernetes/EKS), secrets and identity integration (Vault, IAM, etc.) to ensure resilience, high availability, and disaster recovery patterns.
  • Drive developer productivity by delivering golden paths, reusable templates, and self-service platforms, supported by standardised workflows, developer portals, and automation, and measured through DORA metrics, adoption, and feedback loops. Establish best practices across continuous integration and delivery.
  • Introduce AI-driven automation across platform operations. Enable use cases such as AI-assisted troubleshooting, predictive incident detection, intelligent cost optimization. Integrate LLMs and agentic workflows responsibly with governance controls. Ensure human-in-the-loop decision frameworks for critical actions.
  • Embed security-by-design into platform capabilities. Enforce policies for access control and identity integration, secrets management, compliance and auditability. Partner with cyber security teams to align with enterprise standards.
