Job summary

Business Centric Technology in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Team Lead of Platform Development to steer a talented group of developers in building core platforms and mission‑critical applications onsite. You will blend hands‑on technical leadership with strategic planning, oversee delivery, coaching, and ensure alignment with business goals and platform strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development with strong full‑stack experience.
• 2+ years in formal or informal leadership or people management.
• Strong background across backend, frontend, APIs, and databases.
• Experience delivering multi‑system solutions using Scrum or Waterfall.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate tech topics for non‑technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of developers, providing coaching and feedback.
• Drive development roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Set objectives and measurable outcomes for the team and individuals.
• Run daily standups and delivery check‑ins to ensure transparency.
• Champion high engineering standards and code quality across the stack.
• Oversee testing strategies and reliable quality gates.
• Monitor progress, remove blockers, and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
• Communicate progress and risks to technology leadership.
• Document architecture, designs, APIs, and operational procedures.
• Identify skills gaps and coordinate training or hiring.
