Job summary

FutureFit AI is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own the look, feel, and interaction coherence across the platform for job seekers, staff, employers, and agency admins. You will lead the design of major initiatives end to end and set the visual language and design system for the product.

You will drive accessibility by default, build a coherent foundation while allowing deliberate surface divergence, and mentor team members on design excellence throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Top-tier product design craft across multi-persona B2B/B2G or enterprise SaaS.
• Ownership of a design system at meaningful scale.
• WCAG 2.2 AA / Section 508 accessible design produced in production.
• Range from systems-level thinking to pixel-level polish with strong IA.
• Experience designing AI-mediated or recommendation-driven experiences.
• Ability to run user research and translate insights into design decisions.
• Comfort prioritizing where design depth matters across surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own platform look and feel, design system, tokens, layout, typography, and motion.
• Ensure accessibility by default across all surfaces and products.
• Build a shared foundation with deliberate divergence across surfaces.
• Lead end-to-end design of major initiatives with Product and TPMs.
• Design AI-enabled experiences and data-dense admin flows.
• Own the full fidelity arc from framing to handoff with states.
• Run user research directly with job seekers, counsellors, and agency staff.
• Mentor PMs, engineers, and future designers to raise design fluency.
