Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Optical, Physics or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in design, integration and testing of semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture definition, design, integration, and testing of advanced platforms and optical subsystems in semiconductor process equipment.
• Design and integrate mechanical, opto-mechanical, and optical components and subsystems.
• Define system specifications aligned to tool performance targets (throughput, yield, uptime, cost of ownership).
• Collaborate with process engineers, product management, and platform teams to translate requirements into robust designs.
• Lead design reviews and trade-off analyses across performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Prototype, integrate, and qualify subsystems within wafer processing tools, including alignment and verification.
• Coordinate with global suppliers to source and qualify components per AMAT standards.
• Perform validation and reliability testing, ensuring SEMI standards and internal qualifications.
