Job summary

Oncora is an oncology software and data company dedicated to helping physicians and scientists collect and use real-world data to improve outcomes for cancer patients. We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our Platform and Integrations team to build and operate our core data platform, integrating diverse data sources and scaling to support hospitals.

You will deploy updates frequently, contribute to data enrichment and de-identification, and collaborate with a mission-driven team

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of software engineering experience, with data-focused projects.
• Fluency in Python or a similar language and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Develop pipelines to integrate data elements into the oncology schema.
• Monitor and improve data infrastructure for stability and performance.
• Enhance data warehousing and reporting for real-time analysis across thousands of patients.
• Integrate ontologies and de-identification for ML and research use-cases.
• Build integrations with clinical systems (EMR/EHRs).
• Deploy updates frequently to improve cancer care.
