Job summary

XBOW is seeking a Software Engineer - Platform / Core Infrastructure to design and implement the distributed infrastructure powering our AI engine across cloud providers (AWS, Azure, OCI) and contexts (SaaS, on prem).

This role focuses on building scalable, resilient systems, collaborating with AI researchers and security experts in a fast-paced startup. You will tackle complex performance and reliability challenges and influence platform strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building and operating scalable distributed systems on cloud platforms.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging (Kafka).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure infrastructure across multiple clouds.
• Tune cloud services for performance and reliability.
• Develop core services in TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go.
• Support large-scale systems with event-driven architectures.
• Own problems end-to-end from design to production support.
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers to enable rapid product development.
• Design for resilience with disaster recovery and business continuity.
