Job summary

Xona Space Systems seeks a Senior SRE/Platform Engineer to own cloud operations across AWS and Kubernetes, optimizing scalability, reliability, and cost. You’ll build robust observability with OpenTelemetry, implement infrastructure-as-code, and mentor teams on best practices for production readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong infrastructure or SRE background with scaling experience.
• Solid Kubernetes production operations and deployment tooling expertise.
• Experience with OpenShift on-prem is a plus.
• Familiarity with observability, tracing, and alerting design.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud operations on AWS and Kubernetes from alpha to production.
• Develop and enforce observability standards with dashboards and alerts.
• Automate delivery, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Design scalable, future-proof infrastructure for growing Pulsar constellation.
• Mentor teams on Kubernetes deployment patterns and reliability.
