Confidential in Los Angeles seeks an experienced architect to strengthen platform delivery by building robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Python.

You will standardize deployment patterns, embed security scanning, and advance pipeline-as-code practices across Windows and Linux environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Platform/DevOps roles, hands-on IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu and AWS CDK, and strong collaboration skills.

Formación

• 5+ years in Platform/DevOps, Release, Architect or Pipeline Engineer role.
• Hands-on with GitLab CI/CD to design complex pipelines.
• Strong Python scripting for automation and API integration.
• IaC tools: Terraform/OpenTofu; AWS CDK in automated pipelines.
• Security in CI/CD: SAST/DAST and secret management.
• Win/Linux build agents administration and troubleshooting.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
• Develop automation scripts and tooling in Python to streamline build, test, release.
• Maintain reusable pipeline templates for standardization across teams.
• Integrate IaC workflows (Terraform/OpenTofu) into pipelines for environment provisioning.
• Enforce security best practices in CI/CD, including scanning and secret management.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize build times and manage artifacts.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures across Windows and Linux environments.
• Implement pipeline observability and metrics for deployment visibility.
• Contribute to Pipeline Engineering standards and GitOps best practices.
• Stay current with CI/CD, DevSecOps trends and tooling.
