Job summary

Reliable Robotics Corporation is seeking a Client Platform Engineer to join the IT and Security team in Mountain View, CA. You will design and deploy tools, manage SaaS and cloud infrastructure, and standardize IT processes to support internal users across the organization.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, MDM for Apple/Windows devices, and collaboration with multiple teams to improve the daily experience of end-users and ensure secure, scalable IT operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting IT in a business environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and remote support experience.
• Basic networking, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi.
• Experience managing in-office infra (Wi‑Fi, printers).
• Experience with MDM for Apple and Windows devices.
• Familiar with Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
• Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Understanding of SSL certificates and PKI.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience with Google Workspace management.
• Experience with virtualization: AWS, GCP, Docker, KVM, LXC.
• Development tooling: Git, GitHub, VSCode, pip3.
• Experience with AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3, Route53, etc).
• Application packaging (msi/pkg/deb).
• Data management and secure handling experience.
• End-user device support experience.
• Mobile device management and BYOD policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement tools supporting the business internal needs and standards.
• Manage SaaS services, physical infrastructure, and cloud infrastructure to support Reliable’s teams.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and improve user experience; train IT/Security teams for redundancy.
• Support end-users and ensure smooth IT operations across the business.
