Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Rapid Infrastructure Orchestration (RIO) team is building enterprise-grade Terraform and Ansible platforms to manage infrastructure as code across private, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. The Platform Architect will design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions that align with central SDLC standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with a focus on cloud infrastructure engineering and automation.
• Expertise in designing and integrating with enterprise cloud environments, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes, networking, storage, and security services on multiple platforms.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development
• Proven experience architecting and operating CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Advanced development skills in Python for automation, integration, and troubleshooting
• Strong background working with modern authentication and authorizations frameworks (e.g. OAuth, ODIC, MTLS)
• Strong working experience on relational databases and webservers
• Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Terraform and Ansible platform spanning private, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with multi-cloud platform owners to ensure integration and compliance with central SDLC standards.
• Emphasize Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code using modular approach.
• Support unified interfaces and processes across all environments.
• Deliver stable, automated platform solutions suitable for enterprise use.
