Asurion seeks a Senior Software Architect to lead architectural direction for high-traffic production platforms. You will stay hands-on in design reviews, prototypes, and critical implementation decisions while guiding cross-team projects with focus on security, reliability, and maintainability.

You will shape AI strategy, leverage open-source models, and drive platform choices that align with business goals and cost efficiency. Travel may be required across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Fifteen or more years in software engineering and architecture, including seven+ years at production scale.
• Hands-on architecture and engineering in high-traffic production environments.
• Experience inheriting diagnosing and remediating architecture that failed or constrained the business.

Responsabilités

• Set and own software architecture direction for high-traffic platforms, remaining hands-on in reviews.
• Support cross-team architecture projects ensuring security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Chair architecture review forum and maintain auditable decision records.
• Establish and maintain design patterns and reference implementations; drive adoption.
• Embed security by design into architecture and lifecycle from inception.
