Job summary

The Plymouth Rock Company is seeking a Platform Architect to design, implement, and govern scalable platform solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

As the SME and escalation point, you will drive architecture standards, deliver strategic projects, and partner with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure our platforms support innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS/Engineering.
• 5–10 years in platform architecture or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on with CI/CD, API gateways, service mesh, monitoring tools.
• ITIL familiarity and governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end platform architecture across cloud/on-prem/hybrid.
• Define and enforce configuration standards, security controls, and compliance.
• Lead solution design for resiliency, automation, and observability.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security and DevOps teams.
• Provide governance, runbooks, and documentation for platform services.
