Job summary

Wipro Limited in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced automation engineer to drive Playwright-first automation architecture and standards across projects. You will design AI-assisted test generation workflows, establish governance, and ensure robust contract testing and CI/CD practices.

You will mentor teams, define modular solution designs, review codes, and perform root-cause analysis to improve quality and reliability of applications deployed across complex digital platforms.

Qualifications

Mandatory skills include Playwright and 5–8 years of experience.
Experience requirement: 5–8 years in Playwright automation.

Responsibilities

Define and drive Playwright-first automation architecture and standards.
Design AI-assisted scenario and test generation workflows.
Establish automation governance, architecture reviews, and engineering standards.
Define inventory-driven quality engineering across workflows, roles, permissions, feature flags, and contracts.
Drive contract testing, service virtualization, and external dependency stubbing.
Architect test data, environment, and parallel execution strategies.
Establish CI/CD quality gates, coverage intelligence, and release confidence metrics.
Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
