Job summary

Entrust Corporation is seeking a Platform Architect to maintain architectural coherence across the Agentic Trust Layer, guiding identity, authority, execution, and assurance across multiple product lines. The role focuses on trusted identity, security, evidence, and governance to enable scalable, compliant, and AI-enabled enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
7+ years leading enterprise architecture programs or security architecture for identity, cryptography, or trust infra products.
Deep, applied expertise in cryptography, PKI, and hardware roots of trust.
Experience with workload identity (SPIFFE/SPIRE, SVIDs, mutual TLS) and modern delegated authorization (OAuth2.x).

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the four-plane reference architecture (Identity, Authority, Execution, Assurance).
Own technical specification of Agent Passport, including SPIFFE/SPIRE-based identity and bindings to roots and HSMs.
Own the Permission Slip framework, evidence ledger, and policy engine across planes.
Chair architecture governance bodies and ensure security, compliance, and governance.
Lead collaboration with executives and engineers to drive strategic architectural decisions.
