Job description

Our client is a leading provider of Retirement, Asset Management, and Employee Benefit Solutions in the United States and internationally. The firm serves millions of customers worldwide and manages hundreds of billions in assets, with a strong reputation for financial stability, service, and retirement‑plan expertise.

We are seeking a hands‑on Senior/Lead Engineer/Architect to design, build, and operate large‑scale platforms that power critical areas of the business. In particular, you will help evolve and modernize our a major enterprise, data intensive platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure, resilient, and ready for future growth.

IN this role you will own modern architecture decisions, write and review production code, and partner across teams to deliver complex systems with high quality, reliability, and security.

A core focus will be modernizing the technology landscape—simplifying and standardizing platforms, reducing technical debt, and migrating key capabilities from custom, homegrown solutions to secure, supportable off‑the‑shelf/SaaS and vendor platforms where it improves speed, resiliency, and total cost of ownership.

This role drives outcomes through technical leadership and influence (strong design, clear recommendations, and hands‑on delivery), not formal people management.

Requirements:
