Job summary

AE Business Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect to translate business goals into practical technology solutions. You will partner with sales, delivery, and customer teams through the solution lifecycle, from discovery to post-sale support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of solution architecture experience.
• Expert knowledge of virtualization, storage and data protection platforms.
• Kubernetes, IaC tools (Terraform preferred) and scripting (Python/PowerShell/Golang/Node.js).
• Foundational understanding of cloud platforms, CI/CD, CSP storage, CSP databases, FaaS/serverless, and cloud networking.
• API, CLI and GUI familiarity.

Job description

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to help customers translate business goals into practical technology solutions. This role partners closely with sales, delivery, and customer teams throughout the solution lifecycle—from early discovery and proposal development through implementation planning and post-sale support.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical judgment with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business audiences. They will help shape solution strategy, guide customer conversations, and build trusted relationships that support long‑term account growth.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• At least five years of experience in solution architecture
• Expert‑level knowledge and practical experience with multiple enterprise virtualization platforms (Nutanix, VMware vSphere, et. al.), enterprise storage platforms (Pure Storage, Hitachi, NetApp, Dell EMC, et. al.), and enterprise data protection platforms (Rubrik, Commvault, Veeam, Zerto, et. al.)
• Knowledgeable with at least one Kubernetes flavor (raw k8s, OpenShift, EKS, GKE, AKS, NKP, et. al), one IaC tool (Terraform strongly preferred, ARM, CloudFormation, Ansible, et. al), and competent with at least one language appropriate for automation/scripting (Python, PowerShell, Golang, Node.js, et. al)
• Foundational understanding of one or more of the following: public CSP (Azure, AWS, GCP), CI/CD platform (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, BitBucket, CircleCI, et. al), CSP storage solutions, CSP databases, FaaS/serverless, cloud networking.
• Comfortable with an API, CLI, and GUI.
