Job summary

Kelly Services in Santa Ana, CA is hiring a Plater Level I to finish plumbing and accessory components. You will work with plating and chemical processes, inspect finished products, and follow established safety procedures.

Shifts include 1st 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. ($20/hr) and 2nd 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. ($21/hr). This full-time, temporary-to-hire role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of plating or related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience with plating, soap line, chemical stripping, or oxidation.
• At least 1 year of experience working with or around industrial chemicals.
• At least 1 year of production experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and written procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Apply copper, nickel, and chrome finishes.
• Clean parts and perform chemical stripping and oxidation according to standard procedures.
• Operate manual hoists and read rectifier meters.
• Inspect finished products and report plating problems or rejected parts.
• Follow company safety rules and procedures.
