Job summary

Acument Global Technologies - North America is seeking a 2nd shift plating line operator. The role involves running the plating production line, operating a stand-up forklift, and ensuring safety and quality in a non-climate controlled facility.

The job requires data entry in Google Sheets, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with teams to meet daily production goals. Physical requirements include standing 8+ hours and lifting up to 25 pounds.

• Monitor tank levels and temperatures; collect quality samples.
• Drain, clean, and maintain plating tanks/equipment quarterly.

This is a 2nd shift opportunity.

Pay rate - $18.64 - $25.90/hr

Responsible for running the plating production line and monitoring product in process.

Essential Functions

• Operate stand up forklift.
• Work in a team environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
• Operate the plating production line.
• Set up and run plating line based on daily production demand.
• Data entry of product information utilizing Google Sheets.
• Complete and record required data for the process utilizing Google Sheets.
• Collect quality sampling.
• Monitor levels in tanks.
• Monitor tank temperatures, as needed.
• Drain, clean and maintain plating tanks and equipment quarterly.
• Monitor barrels for proper operation.
• Verify product in correct drum when loading and unloading.
• Ensure proper PPE and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to read and use bolt measuring guide.
• Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Ability to multi-task.
• Data entry and basic computer skills.

Education

HS Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
• Stand-up Forklift experience a plus, but not required. OJT training will be provided.

Working Conditions

• Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled facility.
• Ability to bend and stoop.
• Must be flexible and willng to work overtime.
