MS AMBROGIO NORTH AMERICA LLC is hiring for a Press Set Up Operator on the 2nd shift in Auburn, ME. You will set up plating machines, monitor coating thickness, inspect work, and maintain production records while following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Inspect coated or plated areas for defects and verify thickness.
  • Monitor thickness and adjust temperatures and speeds of coating equipment.

Role Summary/Purpose

The employee in this role will be required to perform each of the tasks below in a safe and timely manner. The Operator must focus on quality as well as productivity.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, or tend plating or coating machines to coat metal
  • Inspect coated or plated areas for defects such as air bubbles or uneven coverage
  • Monitor and measure thicknesses of electroplating on component parts to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers
  • Adjust controls to set temperatures of coating substances and speeds of machines and equipment
  • Perform equipment maintenance on tanks and filter systems
  • Operate hoists
  • Maintain production records
  • Perform frequent heavy lifting
  • Follow the hazardous waste rules for the generation and placement of hazardous waste into containers.
  • Select work from SAP production schedule and perform confirmation transactions

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED

Starting Rate $20.82 per Hour, Plus $1.00 Shift Differential

***Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position***

  • * 3 Week Vacation and 40 hours Sick/Personal Time available after 90-day probation period (Prorated through the year based on start date)
  • * 8 Hour Shifts 2:30pm - 10:30pm
  • * Paid Holidays - 11 Per Year
  • * Health Benefits - Available Day 1
  • * Retirement Benefits - 401k Available to Set Up And Contribute After 6 Months Of Employment
  • 3% Company Contribution - Even If You Do Not Contribute.
  • Company Match - 75% Of Your Contribution Up To 6%
