Job summary

Cinch Connectivity Solutions is seeking an Electroplating Technician to direct and maintain plating and chemical finishing processes. You will support a broad range of internal customers and help ensure uninterrupted manufacturing of high-tech products for aerospace and defense sectors.

The role requires a two-year degree in chemistry or related fields or equivalent experience, plus 1+ year in plating/chemical processes. US citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

  • Two-year degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent or relevant chemical and technical experience.
  • 1+ years' experience in plating and chemical processes including titration, atomic absorption, and wastewater treatment.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical analysis on plating baths and waste streams.
  • Prepare procedures and controls for plating lab processes.
  • Develop, perform, and interpret tests to evaluate chemical processes.
  • Train personnel on setup and process procedures for plating.
  • Manage waste streams and hazardous waste storage.
  • Monitor process parameters and correct deviations from set points.
  • Perform hands-on surface finishing operations.
  • Prioritize work orders per documented procedures.

Overview

Our Plating team is proud of their contributions, supporting a broad range of internal customers and requests while ensuring the uninterrupted development and manufacturing of high-tech products for key industries like aerospace and defense.

Responsibilities

Are You Looking to

  • Perform chemical analysis on plating bathes and waste plant discharge.
  • Prepare procedures and controls for processes employed in the plating lab.
  • Develop, perform, and interpret test analysis and results to evaluate chemical processes.
  • Train personnel for proper setup and process procedures to clean and plate using the correct methods, correct measuring devices, process control methods, etc.
  • Manage waste streams and effectively treat and store hazardous waste.

Are You Ready to

  • Participate in ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification, and solution verification.
  • Monitor process operating parameters and correct deviations from established set points.
  • Perform hands-on surface finishing operations
  • Prioritize work orders per documented procedures.
