ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator helper for 2nd shift on the warehouse floor. You will learn to operate saw machines and back up plate saw operations, with training provided. The role includes moving materials and assisting with packing and loading, under supervision.

Compensation ranges from $19 to $26 per hour with a monthly bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits; safety and ISO initiatives are emphasized on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Forklift experience and basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and products with a forklift and other equipment.
• Accurately remove, stock, and pack product per inventory plan.
• Load/unload trucks and verify items loaded correctly.
• Operate Kaltenbach saw for cutting orders as needed.
• Complete cycle counts and required paperwork.

Job SummaryResponsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems.Job DescriptionWe are hiring a Machine Operator helper on 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity for an experienced material handler who wants to learn how to operate saw machines. You will be trained as a back up plate saw operator.Pay $19-$26 per hour plus monthly bonus opportunityKey Accountabilities:Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.Completes cycle Counts.Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.Performs general clean up.Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
