Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Operator Helper to support a fast-paced warehouse environment on 1st shift. You will safely move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment; assist with order picking, packing, and loading, and help maintain a clean, organized site while following safety and ISO standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a willingness to learn, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement in daily warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
• Able to sit for long periods and perform bending/reaching.
• English reading and writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Move and stock product and supplies according to plan.
• Select products to fill orders and package correctly.
• Load/unload trucks and verify items loaded.
• Find, process, and pack orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Perform cycle counts and identify defective material.
• Complete required paperwork per work instructions.
• Maintain forklift safety and report issues to supervisor.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.

Pay $18-$20 per hour with opportunity to earn up to $600 per month gainshare bonus.Key Accountabilities:Accurately removes and stocks product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.Accurately selects product to fill customer orders and package them properly.Loads and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.Picking, processing and packing orders, also may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.Completes cycle Counts.Identifies, holds and segregates defective material.Completes paperwork per work instructions, when required.Performs general clean up.Inspects forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.Participates, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.Assists in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
