Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to work on plate rolling, brake press, and plasma cutting. The role requires welding experience in ASME environments and ability to read blueprints for plate layout.

You will work both independently and with a team to meet fabrication specs. Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience with plate rollers, CNC plasma cutters, and brake presses, with a safety-focused mindset and strong interpersonal communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with plate rolling, brake press operation, shear operation, and plasma cutting.
• ASME Code welding experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints and lay out plate for fabrication.
• Willingness to attain weld certifications if needed.
• Strong math and reading skills are required.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety-focused and able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate plate rolling, brake press, shear, and plasma cutting as per job specs.
• Set up and run equipment on a continuous schedule.
• Read blueprints and perform plate lay-out and welding as needed.
• Maintain quality control within the company QC system and safety practices.
