Job summary

The Operator at Zeeco, Inc. in Broken Arrow, OK will run a Plate Roll Press to fabricate parts, ensuring parts meet specifications and quality standards.

Key duties include deburring, filing, grinding, polishing, reading tape measures, interpreting blueprints and BOMs, and performing spot inspections. You’ll work with a hands-on team in a safety-conscious shop that values growth and collaboration.

Must be able to travel unaccompanied and work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting operating roll press.
• Prior fabrication experience
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Competent use of hand, bench, and machine operations to perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts.
• Understanding of and ability to utilize a tape measure, squaring tools, electronic level, calipers, and micrometers.
• Understand tolerances for parts.
• Ability to understand why machines are not a peak performance and how to increase output.
• Accuracy with alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements. Perform spot inspections of parts.
• Interpretations of work orders, blueprints, and bills of materials. Complete and maintain paperwork.
• Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum, and regular steel).
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
