Job summary

Zeeco is seeking an Operator to run a Brake, Roll Press, Saw and Shear to fabricate parts on a night shift. You will apply deburring, sanding, and precision measurement to ensure quality.

The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting work orders, and maintaining accurate documentation while adhering to safety standards in a busy shop environment. You will work with team members and participate in continuous improvement, maintaining cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting operating brake/roll press.
• Prior fabrication experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate brake, roll press, saw and shear to fabricate parts.
• Perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and bills of materials.
• Inspect parts and ensure tolerances; perform spot inspections.
• Configure bend allowances for sheet metal.
• Maintain paperwork and alignments; safely operate equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: The Operator will run a Brake, Roll Press, Saw and Shear to fabricate parts. This role is a night shift opportunity.

Functional Job Duties

• Competent use of hand, bench, and machine operations to perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts.
• Understanding of and ability to utilize a tape measure, squaring tools, electronic level, calipers, and micrometers.
• Understand tolerances for parts.
• Ability to understand why machines are not a peak performance and how to increase output.
• Accuracy with alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements. Perform spot inspections of parts.
• Interpretations of work orders, blueprints, and bills of materials. Complete and maintain paperwork.
• Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum, and regular steel).
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to go up and down stairs.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to do unaccompanied travel.
• Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment when required.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties
