Arcosa Wind Towers in Belen, NM, seeks a Machine Operator to load, cut, and finish steel plates on a production line. You will operate lifting and cutting equipment, inspect quality, and ensure safety standards are met in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience, ability to read a tape measure, and fluent English. It offers full-time hours with overtime, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Ability to operate a lift moving loads up to 30,000 pounds.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane on a production line.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking of English.
• Strong teamwork and respectful conduct in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Roll and re-roll plate to match sweep.
• Inspect plate for defects and damage.
• Operate burn table to cut plate per blueprints and measurements.
• Operate mag lift to transfer plate within the department.
• Blast and paint plate.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
