ProAmpac in Auburn, WA is seeking a detail-oriented Plate Mounting Technician for a 12-hour shift cycle in a fast-paced printing operation. You will mount plates on cylinders or sleeves to ensure color registration matches work orders and prepare presses for production.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, assembling and locking plates, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and precise measurement, with incentives and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret job work orders and safety instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mount printing plates on cylinders or sleeves to match work orders.
• Read orders, collect cylinders, mount plates by color, and lock in place.
• Ensure correct color registration and follow quality and safety guidelines.
