Job summary

STARPAK LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a hands-on manufacturing associate responsible for job preparation, plate mounting, sleeve alignment, and stick-back application per job orders. You will operate mounting equipment, verify items against QC lists, and ensure cleanliness of work surfaces.

The role requires basic math, reading comprehension, and computer literacy, with ability to stand for long periods on a climate-controlled floor and to handle up to 60 pounds. PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Familiar with using computers and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Job Preparation: check job order for accuracy and request corrections as needed.
• Plate: verify mounting plate correct item, plate condition and thickness as specified on the job order.
• Sleeve: check mounting sleeve per job order, sleeve repeat, sleeve thickness, and condition.
• Sticky back: apply on the sleeve per job spec using tape applicator, ensure no air gaps.
• Mount: mount the plate accurately using automatic mounting equipment and verify QC after mounting.

DESCRIPTION

• Job Preparation, check job order for accuracy and request corrections as needed.
• Plate, check mounting plate correct item, plate condition and thickness as it is specifying on the job order.
• Sleeve, check mounting sleeve as it is specifying on the job order sleeve repeat, sleeve made plate thickness, sleeve made press and the condition of the sleeve.
• Sticky back, apply on the sleeve based on the job specification by using tape applicator machine without any air trapped between sleeve and sticky back.
• MOUNT, specified item plate, check all QC list pre mount, clean the back of plate with 99.9% isopropanol alcohol, trim if it is necessary and mount the plate accurately by using automatic mounting machine and check all QC post mounted.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

WORKING CONDITIONS
