Job summary

Wilsonart is seeking a Production Associate in the Press department to operate the plate lift, separate pressed laminate, and stack material under supervision. The role pays $23.57/hr with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work (50–100 lbs).
• Capable of following safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves and inspects component material, plates, and laminate.
• Lays up component material and lays off laminate with a partner according to process.
• Initiates corrective action if production operations are not standard.
• Logs production information such as material produced, type, size, run, control settings, rejects.
• Performs lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety checks; follows policies.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement and adheres to quality standards.
