Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking General Plant Labor to support operations at our facility. The role includes operating machinery and a forklift, performing plate freezer, stretch wrapper, and pressure washer tasks, and maintaining clean, safe work areas throughout the plant.

Candidates must be 18+, able to read/write, and capable of climbing stairs and standing for long shifts. Team collaboration and adherence to safety standards are essential in this demanding environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• General plant labor including operating machinery and forklift.
• Plate Freezer, Stretch Wrapper, and Pressure Washer operations.
• Housekeeping, cleaning and painting as required in all plant areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Utilize and operate a forklift
• Inventory counts
• Stretch Wrapper Operation
• Pressure Washer Operation
• Housekeeping, hosing down floors, moping, sweeping, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc.
• Shovel and clean up spills in the plant
• Keep barrels emptied of trash and product
• Clean equipment from top to bottom
• Keep floor drains cleaned out and covers on drains
• Perform other duties as assigned
